At CARES, we believe computers are tools to get on and learn, not read about in a book!

That is why all components of our Workshops are studied, learned and practiced on a computer!

No textbooks here!!! Hands on computer training for the Beginner or Intermediate.

A  6 - 12 week program (depending upon your current skill level), 3 hours weekly. Small workshop size (10 people) with two to

three facilitators to give you the individual help you may need.

              Some very helpful computer sites

RefDesk One of the best online general reference resources we've found.
PC Pitstop A great site for PC help!
Webopedia An online encyclopedia of the world of computers.

Have an old computer you're not using?

At CARES, we try to get clients who don't have the means, into their first computer! If you have a used computer & would like to

see it put to good use please call us! We have a team of Volunteers who gladly give their time and expertise to refurbish these

machines for people who can't dream of buying one at this point. These clients are in program at CARES gathering the essential

tools for a productive life and honing their new found computer skills is part of that process! We accept donations of used machines

from Individuals, Educational Institutions and Corporations and can arrange pickup on request. If you have a computer, parts,

monitor or printer you'd like to see put to good use please call us at
